The dread turned out to be unreadable which leaves Bitte even more determinded to find out what KK has been doing in the woods...

The 40K meet up with Jacob Burns and investigate the damaged skyscraper. They find Kim's panda coat and clues that lead to the spanish consulate. Then on the way out they have another encounter with Isis' abductor.

Libussa visits the Snatch and is introduced to Isis by Krueger before the Priest of Priests updates Libussa on the knightly order that isn't going to be a knightly order, Games of Instinct, the "challenges" that were issued by Bishop Miles and Bishop Henri at the Blood Feast and other things before Jacob Burns pops in for a sequel... and all hell breaks loose.
